ITC Packaging granted the top BRC rating at Ibi and Sopelana plants

At ITC Packaging, we have recently renewed the ‘BRC for Packaging’ certifications at our Ibi and Sopelana plants with an AA score, the highest possible rating for scheduled audits. These certifications that we have continuously held since 2006 guarantee the safety, legality and quality of all packaging manufactured at our ITC Packaging production plants.

Considered as the benchmark framework to ensure packaging quality, the BRC (British Retail Consortium) certification is the most demanded standard by manufacturers of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. By demonstrating our compliance with this standard, ITC Packaging has met all the requirements demanded by its customers in terms of risk management, staff, facilities, quality, product safety, product and process control, etc.

While being highly regarded by the audit thanks to the modifications introduced, our recent refurbishment of ITC Packaging's facilities and manufacturing plant has allowed us to maximise our hygiene and food safety conditions to comply with the highest market demands. In this manner, ITC Packaging's new manufacturing plant has become a benchmark within the food packaging sector.

In addition to the BRC audit, ITC Packaging is subject to at least ten external audits every year that are undertaken by our customers, global benchmark brands and main market players. However, thanks to the implementation of a structured manufacturing and quality process, this constant demand allows is to produce products that strictly comply with quality standards sustained over time.
